It’s of my Father…..

Tammie, I’m so very proud of the quilt . It’s of my father (who passed away last year) and I’m giving it to my mom for Mother’s Day. You helped me out with a couple of the colors through e-mail. Everyone has seen it has been absolutely stunned that this looks just like him! Your program is unbelievable. . . . . I love the color palette, which was a great help in choosing just the right fabrics. This quilt has 3060 pieces in 24 colors. I did it in the one-inch squares. Although it took me a long time to sew as the squares were so small, it was completely worth it.  I took it to my local fabric stores to look for binding and backing and it was a hit! One of the employees took it around showing it to everyone. I was in Jo -Ann Fabrics for over an hour talking to people about it. They were in awe. I can’t wait to start my next one!
